Found a better price? We’ll match it.
At Zooxae, we want you to shop with confidence knowing you're getting a great price. If you find a lower advertised price on an identical, in-stock product from a qualifying major U.S. retailer, Zooxae will match the price, subject to the terms below.
What qualifies for a price match?
To qualify, the product must:
- Be identical. The competitor's product must be the exact same brand, model, size, quantity, color, and version as the product sold by Zooxae.
- Be new and factory sealed. Used, refurbished, open-box, damaged, clearance, liquidation, or previously owned products do not qualify.
- Be in stock. The product must be immediately available for purchase from both Zooxae and the qualifying competitor when the price match is requested.
- Be sold directly by the retailer. Marketplace listings and products sold or fulfilled by third-party sellers do not qualify.
- Have a publicly advertised price. We must be able to verify the competitor's current price on its website or published advertisement.
- Be sold by an authorized U.S. retailer. The competitor must be an established U.S. retailer or an authorized dealer for the applicable brand.
Retailers We Price Match
Zooxae will price match eligible products sold directly by major U.S. retailers and established aquarium specialty retailers.
Major retailers may include Modern Aquarium, Aquacave, Bulk Reef Supply, Buce Plant, Top Shelf Aquatics, That Fish Place, Aquarium Co-Op, Premium Aquatics, Aquatics Unlimited.
For marketplace websites such as Amazon and Walmart, the item must be sold directly by the retailer or an authorized brand/manufacturer. Third-party marketplace sellers do not qualify.
Zooxae reserves the right to determine whether a retailer or advertised offer qualifies for price matching.
What doesn't qualify?
Our Price Match Guarantee does not apply to:
- Third-party marketplace sellers
- Used, refurbished, open-box, demo, returned, or damaged merchandise
- Clearance, closeout, liquidation, going-out-of-business, or discontinued-item pricing
- Auction sites or peer-to-peer marketplaces
- Membership-only, employee, wholesale, dealer, or other restricted pricing
- Coupon codes, rebates, gift-card promotions, financing offers, bundles, or free-item promotions
- Pricing errors or obviously incorrect advertised prices
- Flash sales, doorbusters, limited-quantity promotions, or similar special-event pricing
- Shipping, handling, installation, service, or other non-product charges
- Products that cannot be independently verified as identical
Live Animals, Corals, Plants & WYSIWYG Products
Because livestock, corals, live plants, and individually photographed WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) products can vary in size, coloration, condition, appearance, lineage, and other characteristics, these products are not eligible for price matching unless Zooxae specifically states otherwise.
Price matching generally applies to identical, manufacturer-produced products such as aquarium equipment, lighting, pumps, filtration products, additives, maintenance products, and other eligible dry goods.
How to Request a Price Match
Found a lower price? Send us the competitor's product page or advertisement showing the current price and availability by emailing us at zooxae_support@zooxae.com, or let one of our staff members know when you visit our store.
Our team will verify:
Same product + In stock + Qualified retailer + Eligible offer = Price Match
Once verified, we'll match the qualifying competitor's advertised price.
A Few Important Details
The competitor's price must be available at the time we verify the request. Price matching is limited to reasonable quantities and is intended for personal-use purchases. Zooxae may decline requests involving pricing errors, unusually large quantities, unauthorized dealers, unverifiable offers, or attempts to circumvent the intent of this policy.
Zooxae reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Price Match Guarantee at any time.
